I was just wondering if any of you guys that are running the BBK SSI intake have the phenolic spacer they make for it, and wanted to know if you could tell a difference in the way the car ran! I've got the intake off of the car right now and was thinking about getting one.. thanks guys

the spacer won't give you any noticable improvements

yea, thats kinda what i was thinking..
do you think it'd be worth $60?
ill have to buy a new gasket anyways and didnt know if i should spend that extra little bit on the spacer..

the spacer more often than not is for valve cover clearance when taller covers are used, if you wanna try it feel free to but no seat of the pants feel will be noticed only a dyno would show you if it helped or not

oh yea, i knew it helped with valve cover clearance..
just wasnt sure of the other benefits. but like you said, the overall gains wont be much im sure!
