Default Need HELP finding a new ECU

I have a 1994 Mustang Gt 5.0 H.O. standard shift. I'm having trouble finding a new e.c.u. My car is at the Ford dealership and they are even having trouble finding one. They have even tried finding an after market one. The car is starting but when you shut it off while its hot it will not start back. The episodes are getting worse and closer together over time. I replaced the ignition and it stopped for awhile and has been worse ever since. The fuel injectors are not firing when this happens, but the are getting power.

check the forums, not only here there are tons of other mustang forums that I can guarantee you could find a decently priced computer within two hours. (corral.net, sbftech, moddedmustangs, etc. etc. etc. etc.)

and +1 for checking ebay, thats where your prob going to find your best deal. You obviously cannot be that worried about a price if you went to a dealership looking for help.

i'm gonna bet that your new ecu wont work.
my money is on the stator inside the distributor. it controls the injector timing and have been known to have heat related problems.

^^ Definitely an option, but you should be able to get them online alot cheaper than that. I would use a reman as a last option if you were concerned about money.
