Default Tempurature guage problem

at night, if i turn my head lights on, the temp guage will go all the way up to half way point, if i turn it off it will return to the normal 2nd line

wtf?

i had a problem with my temp and gas guage climbing at the same time. i just installed an autometer temp to be sure and it's more accurate, but if your not looking to spend the 50 bucks it might be a grounding issue somewhere causing it to act like that.

mine does a similar thing with the temp , I wouldn't worry about it, I haven't
