exhaust

RE: exhaust
i have my H pipe hangers kinda laying on top of where they go in. When i put the hangers in the holes by the tranny it would make my H pipe be really low to the ground and my car would always hit when i pulled in driveways. As of right now i have ZIP ties on it and its kinda laying on top of transmission things. No problems...yet?

RE: exhaust
I agree that you will hit just about everything if you don't use the hangers.
Espically if you are lowered.Mine broke and while waiting to get a H-pipe I am running it like it is.I lifted the exhaust as high as I could then tightened everything and still a no go.
I hit the manhole cover on my road that is up a couple of inches. Also hit going over rail road tracks to.

RE: exhaust
with the exhaust hangers by the tranny, you should be able to take a rubber hammer and bend them up a little ways without much effort, I just ran true duals on my car and the double hump tranny crossmember wouldn't go on without bending the exhaust hangers up out of the way, you would always weld on some custom hangers if you had the tools and skills or get it done, but they should bend pretty easy and help with ground clearence
