how to hookup aftermarket tach?

Where would i go about hooking up an aftermarket tach to?? I have a 89 mustang 5.0 with a 94 5.0 motor in it... To the coil??? if so which wires? THANKS!!

Pretty easy, it's already wired for you, disconnect the wires from your stock tach, and you've got it made... You should be able to color match the wire that goes to your coil by looking in the engine bay, and the power wire is simple, and a ground.. Pretty easy...
