oh and did you purchase the chromoly or mild steel. seems like you get a better deal with the UPR one being already fully chromoly for 100 dollars less. also with that k memeber can you bolt up seperately tube A arms with perches or does the overall design need to change if you are having the traditional springs installed?

I bought the mild steal. The chrommoly is more brittle, and not a good choice for the street. You can order the k-member and a-arms w/ or w/o the perches. You can also use the stock a-arms w/ it as well.

MMmm, i see. but it weighs less!!! ahahah, i see what you're saying though. i may just go with PA...i'm having a hard time finding a better deal.

question....how did you install yours? did you cradle the motor as you removed the old K member or did you yank the whole motor replace the k memeber and then re implant the motor?

Hmmm, I can't remember. I went to MJR46's shop and we did it up there. I think we just used a screw jack under the oil pan and then removed the k-member. Or we could have used a support from the top and done it that way. Sorry, I suffer from CRS. He might see this and chime in. Either way, it wasn't a big deal. You def don't have to pull the motor.

i was more curious as to which would be easier for install. i am pullnig the motor soon because ihave some metal to replace in the engine. rust is a B!TCH.

my CRS flares up from time to time as well.
