I have the ford wires, they are great.. What is the yellow discoloration around his wire caps???

O think they are getting a little to hot around the ends. Does anyone know if the super conducter or the heli core wires are better?

most people will say what ever wires they have are fine...do the test..on resist...you'll see the different less resist for current to the plug

The reason I ask is, I have the ford wires, they are fairly new, just a few months, and they have that yellow color around the ends like that too! I run with the boot on, should I not? DOes that have anything to do with it? DO you guys keep the boot on still????

I used the boot......the yellowing is from dirt and grease..try cleaning them....if your wires are fairly new I wouldn't run out and get a new set..unless your adding a MDS or something.....alot of people don't use the boot so they and see the nice MSD red cap..the boot is a lil ugly.....mostly to keep water off the cap
