Default is there a way to fix this

my buddy got this block for free and took it to get bored out and he got the block back today and he called me up and said that there is a hole in the my block

the block should have never left the machine shop. if they broke it, they should replace it, no questions asked.

thats what i told him but he dont know if it was broke before or not cant see them boreing the block and eveything and them not see it and say some thing

That one is bad but isnt there supposed to be a hole there or an I misled? Also would it really bother it? Its oil to oil
