Default surging at steady throttle

HELP.. I got a surge at steady throttle. My info is in my sig. My car surges at idle every now and then. But when you are driving down the road at 55 it starts jumping and bucking. I dont think it is a firing issue but I am open to suggestions. Also, if you try to cruise at just above idle it is impossible. My CEL comes on after driving about 10 miles or so. I have searched and pretty much found alot to check. I have checked everything atleast once but willing to do it again. Any ideas or comments is greatly appreciative. I would really like to get this problem fixed. Note: I have no issues at WOT, 1/2 throttle, etc. Just if you ever so slightly touch the peddle. I thought I read one time that you could drill a small hole in your throttle body and help this issue but cannot find the post now. Sorry so long and mixed up but just trying to make sure I dont forget anything. Thanks,

Dont remember the code number but it was dealing with the purge solenoid.. Located by the purge canister with a few vaccum lines running to it. Check them for leaks but found nothing. MAF was cleaned couple of weeks ago when I started troubleshooting this issue again. The solenoid I am told is a Dealer item. Thanks for the replies.

I do have one bolt in the center of upper intake that is close to being stripped out. I have checked for leaks around the bolt head and where the lower to upper mates. No leaks found.

my old 89 used to do the same thing, turned out it was the EGR position sensor.
the pintle on the sensor wasn't coming out all the way due to carbon buildup inside the valve, a quick fix to this was to remove the sensor and shave a couple millimeters off the pintle with a small grinder. problem solved until the carbon built up further.

What you just explained is pretty much the exact same problem I have, but I haven't been able to find a solution yet either.
