Exclamation Auto To 5 Speed

I've been looking for it on the tech thread but its not there. Does any1 have a link or any information on how to do this. I have an 87 auto and would really like to convert it to 5 speed, I know its not cheap and its a lot of parts but I also know its very doable. any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is worth it, you will be happy you did it, unless you plan on going real high performance your best bet is to find a trahsed donor car for all your parts. On my last car, the 89 Vert, that was an AOD when I got it and I did the swap. What you will find is the hardest part of the job is swapping in the new pedal assembly, its a bitch my friend! LOL

Ya agreed, i did this at the beginning of summer, it takes FOREVER to get the peddals in there, and i busted probably every knuckle on my hands open in the process good learning experiance though!

...that T-5 will wake up that 5L ...the foot pedal is the hardest part of the swap!
