Hmmmmm, out of curiosity, would my Edelbrock Performers (170cc intake runners/60cc combustion chambers/.202"in. and 1.60"ex. valves) work with a 331 or 347 stroker rotating assembly? Just wondering if i decided to go bigger down the road if the same heads would work or if they'd be too peuny!

thats part of the reason i went to the canfield 195's with the custom cam for my stroker, i wanted the max i could get from my setup so i could run as fast as i wanted to.
a guy at work used those heads and intake on a fox and it make a huge freakin difference in et.

If you add boost you'll be "compensating" for the lack of flow to support the CID's with the Performers. Although it will work, it will still not be optimum. In power adder setups, I still try to optimize under NA conditions.... since a power adder is that........ an adder....... setting the performance base higher will make sure the gains are proportional to the NA base. A set of Canfiled 195's or TFS 190 as cast would be a great improvement over the Performers under any conditions (NA or FI)........ just a thought.

You cant go wrong with AFR heads, and if you dont want to pay for a custom cam, comp cams has a few ots supercharger cams, and the F303 cam is supercharger friendley. I would also reccomend going on ahead with the 347 kit if your budget permits!
