need help fast with fuel gauge
 

alright so i bought a 93 lx 5.0 when i bought it none of the guages worked so after much thought and pulling and tracing and blah blah blah i decided to buy new guages so ive ran, oil pressure, coolant temp, volts, speedo, and fuel level well the fuel level is my problem i can not for the life of me both reading my chiltons manual and reading on here figure out where i need to put my sending unit wire, if you can help please do! im also curious on how people did there oil sending unit. i got a mechanical one and dont really want to place that plastic tube by the header!! thanks

sending unit wire goes to the wire attached to the sender on top of the tank.....or back of the cluster but you'll need a diagram to figure the correct wire out..as for oil pressure remove you should have sufficient line to route it away from headers, mine worked fine and remove old sender for elec gauge down by timing cover and place fitting for new one on it:D

right for the oil your running a electric one i have a mechanical one so im dealing with that little rubber hose!!!! do you happen to know what color that wire is cause i cant find it in my book it doesnt say it shows the harness plug but no wire colors or what they go to!

i never had a problem with the plastic tubing, but if you want they do sell copper tubing kits for it. it should be right by them in autozone/advanced what ever.

WRONG!!!!!!:rolleyes:........DO YOU really think I'd of posted if I didn't know!!!!! I'm running a mech one!!! quit whinning about the little plastic hose!! it'll be fine!!:)
