Yeah looks really good... 8719, what steps do you go through to get it that smooth? What grit/type of polish/wax???? Just curious.

I did my plate as well, it took about 1hr of constant sanding. Started with 220, then 320, then 600, then 800, then 1000, then 1500, and finally 2000. After the 2000 grit I didn't have to use polish on it but I did clear coat it with some spray can "rim" paint that I have had alot of good luck with. I'll post a pic if I get some time later tonight. I cleared it because I didn't want to polish it every other week lol. BTW I only wet sanded from 800 up, and used soap to keep it lubed well and cut the need for running water. I used a plastic glad throw away container they work wonders in the garage lol. Water, a little dish soap and wet sand like crazy!!!

Mothers mag polish rocks, you can use that on your headlights and the clear plastic gauge cover. You would be surprised by how much it polishes them up!!!
