I have a 87 GT and I have been having problems with it running rich I was just wondering it had a Factory High Density Air Flow System on it. I had the Map Sensor checked out and it was Ok. Thing is someone that previously Owned the car decided it would be cool to remove the High Density system and put A Mac system with Maf to look cool. Thing is they didn't change the Computer or install A pigtail to connect it. Could this be the Absolute reason my car is running Rich, if so how hard would it be to complete the MAf conversion

if the maf conversion is incorrectly installed it could cause issues, depends on what kit they used??

If its got no high density system or maf setup than definately that would be the problem. Ive seen it in the shop plenty of times and look on the brightside, it needs to be fixed anyway. Chris
