Default Clutch/shifting

Was wondering. I just got a 5.0 fox and am also new to manual trannys. After driving for a while I noticed the clutch pedal puts a lot of strain on my leg. Is this adjustable? Am I just plain shifting wrong? Is it necessary to push the clutch pedal all 2 inches into the floorboard to perform a shift?

yep, its just they have a lot stiffer of a clutch in the car. my car i have to fully depress the pedal to get it to go. and my calf kills me about 5miles into a cruise.

sometimes you can make a clutch easier by installing a new clutch cable, sometimes the stock ones get gummed up.

Sometimes the cable wears a grove on the inside of the sheathing causing extra friction. Do you know what clutch is in it now? The stock clutches are not that hard to press.

The stock one shouldn't be hard to press sounds like you have an aftermarket. my zoom stage 2 feels lite to me but when i let my buddies sit in the car they push it in and they go how do you drive this thing. maybe its because im used to a king cobra (stiff as hell)

Thats how my spec stage two is. It hurts your leg real quick. I used to have a manual focus for a dd. When I would switch cars on the weekend. I about put the pedal through the focus's floor after driving the stang. You must have an aftermarket clutch

CF DF is lighter than stock! woot! but yea it should be that hard to push in.

you can always do an aftermarket clutch cable quadrant kit with the triple hook design. should be able to set it up to what feels nice.
