A couple of months ago i started having problems with my vlinker and my tach. The blinker blinks about twice as fast as it should, and the tach is stuck on 3000 rpm until the engine gets higher than that and then it works fine. Since they both started at the same time, one might think that the problem is electrical. Although, the actions of the tachometer appear to be mechanical(like a bind in the spring or something of that nature). Anyway, i just though maybe someone would have had a similiar experience or might have some advice. Thanks.

your just gonna havta get a new tach if you want that fixed, about your blinker though ive never heard of that before

a new tach is in order..and those thing are even close at being right a new tach can be had for around 100.00

blinker going double-time usually means you've got a bulb burned out somewhere.

i have a blinker problem too.. the other day is was driving and my signals in either direction didnt work.. i tryed my havard lights and they work fine. checked teh fuses and nothing still. anyone had thsi problem before?

Im not sure if your stang has a separate flasher for the signals and hazard lights, but if they do, maybe the turn signal flasher is bad.
