This is probably a stupid question but im having an issue locating the transmission dipstick for my 88 Stang w/ a manual trans. Looked everywhere, and all i see is an oil dipstick. Any sugesstions?

there is no dipstick for a manual trans

the only way to check it is on the pass side of the tranny, theres two hex head bolts on the side one upper and one right below that, the lower is to drain the tranny and you park the car on level ground and fill through the top one till it starts to come out, then the tranny is full

right hand side of tranny there is a plug to remove, one down low = drain, one above it = fill, and use a 3/8 rachet to remove it
