Default cutting out

so when i go WOT my car cuts out and my tach goes erratic. but sometimes when im crusing it ends up doing the same when im going at freeway speeds. when i gas it at about 3/4 of the way it accelerates fine. just wondering if you guys could gimmie some input.

Do you have an aftermarket tach? If you do then unhook it from the coil and try that. If you don't then I'd replace the coil. It's obvious that your having problems with the coil because the tach is going haywire. A bad aftermarket tach can cause the problem.

My car had similar issues and after days of tearing things apart i finally found what was causing it. It was a fuseable link right off the starter solenoid. it was broken and contact would be off an on.
