This time I'm stuck guys and literally! I am trying to get to the oil pump so I can switch itout, but I can't even get the oil pan off!! It is stuck on good to the block. I've tryed putting degreaser on it, Ive hit it with a mallot, Ive hit it with a hammer and block of wood, all the recommended things and none has worked!!! Any Ideas on what to do??? Please I want to get my car on the road already!! Thanks guys

You'll have to pry it off. It's most likely sealed with a good amount of RTV. Either that or you missed some bolts?
Get a screwdriver between the pan and the block on one of the corners. Once you get it in there just pry them apart, taking caution not to score the block
Well i guess thats my only other option although that is not recommended. And I'll be careful with the block. LOL your funny Horatio. im sure I got all the bolts.
Usually I can find a spot where the oil pan sticks out a little bid and I can use the block as leveredge and push them apart. But, if you cant do that then the screwdriver method is the only other way. And yea, thewider and thinner the screwdriver the better

There we go VFast, thank you, I was hoping there would be one more method of hope before having to go to an extremety. If that doesn't fly would you recommend the Screw driver method?
