Popping noises through intake.
I've got a 1990 Mustang GT 5 speed with a 302 efi. When the car is cold and i try to drive it, it sputters and makes popping noises through my intake, only when its cold though. When its warm it drives fine. Any suggestions?

sounds like a lean misfire is going on when it's cold, could be due to excessive carbon build up in the intake and on the valves, good seafoam treatment will cure that, it could also need a tune up??? had one recently?? ie ..cap, rotoe , plugs and wires. also try cleaning the maf.......I'd first run a koer test to verify there are no codes that may clue you into the prob...such as a bad ect??
