Default Air Bag light is blinking, bug

So I swithched out my 91 Non-tilt airbag steering column(<img border="0" src= smileys/smiley13.gif> ) for an 89 tilt non-airbag unit (<img border="0" src= smileys/smiley14.gif> ). So, naturally, I don't have the airbag sensor plugged into anything, and the light is going off and it's bugging the hell out of me. What do I need to do to get it to stop blinking? Lloyd, ever talk to that Ford buddy of yours about my Cruise control problem?? Here's another one for him, lol.

i have the same problem but i still have the airbag in my car. i was thinking about doing the same thing as u so i can get an aftermarket steering wheel but ive heard that for example at the dragway, if your car comes equiped with an airbag u have to have it or u cant race. i hope u fix the light cuz i would like mine to stop blinkin to.

Sicy, I think that sledgehammer will "fix" a lot more things than I need <img border="0" src= smileys/smiley4.gif>

Put a peice of black electrical tape over the light as a bandaid fix untill you get it done right.

Hes in the Bahamas. This one is easy though. Take the cluster out and remove the bulb. No air bags, no problems!!!!!!
