Only real grease points are the tie-rod end links...

Ford doesnt like us being able to grease anything apparently, its all sealed crap except for the tie rods. Thats so you (they hope) will bring it to them if it needs service.

yea i was under the car today and couldnt find a single grease point. You say the tie rods can be greased?.......when i was under there i didnt see any grease points on my tie rods. (correct me if im wrong but that is what comes off the steering rack, box whatever you wanna call it to the ball joints) reason im asking all this is that only sometimes i get a slight squeak (its faint, but when your a nut over your car you do hear it lol) when going over bumps. But havent heard it when steering. When i was underneath i did notice that my sway bar bushings are showing wear and age. could that be the problem?

The tie rods are the two round things coming out of each end of the rack. The grease fittings should be pointing down and are where the tie rod ends mount to the spindles. A squeak could be the tie rods and/or the sway bar bushings, but it can also be and usually are the balljoints which sound like a squeaking bed while turning or just driving over bumps when they go bad. Check for ripped rubber boots on any of whats been mentioned.

Make sure to mrak the tie rod ends somehow so if you replace them, the new ones will be at the same place. That will keep your alignment close. Id get an alignment afterwards anyway, just so its good. Sway bar bushings are easy. Ball joints are more involved and require a ball joint press but its not that difficult.

Now that i think about it, i have a pretty good idea of what is causing the noise. When i was replacing my brakes, i noticed i had a crack in my driverside coil spring. I replaced the coil spring but in the process, i noticed how the spring isolater was worn out from the damaged spring. It was 12 at night, and the auto store was closed, i needed the car back in service for school the next morning, and just put the spring in without the isolater pieces.
