The shifter box does seem kinda too close to the front of the car. It could come back about that 1/2" that is needed to fit perfectly. A deeper bellhousing would bring the trans back so the input shaft wasnt in the crank so deep and also would bring the shift box back a little to fit perfectly. hmmmmmmmm. I couldnt get anything out of the car today except the numbers off the trans because of the rain, but as soon as I can I will get all the measurements off the bellhousing and the input shaft just to be absolutely sure on what part/s is needed.

As far as the specs I was told :
Bellhousing: 6.9"
Input shaft: 7.25" from trans case to tip of input shaft.
