This friday im taking my 85 mustang to the drag strip. I was wondering what kind of gas i should run. Ive heard that if i run 110 i can turn up the timing. Will leaded gas hurt my car? I have stock bottem with forged pistons, 650 holley Double pumper, high rise duel plane, Headers 2.5 h-pipe to flowmasters, b-cam with 1.6 rockers and crane springs. Thank you.

If you have stock cat, do not run the 110 leaded race fuel (really do not need that kind of octane without a major pwr. adder)....I would run a mixture of 93 super and 100 unleaded race fuel if anything...But, really soulds like the 93 will do!

for you no race gas is needed!!! 93 will suffice, race gas is only for cars with power adders and or high compression
