tps adjustment
im trying to adjust my tps and by reading other threads it says to put it between .98 and .99 so i did i spliced into green and black wires but what is weird is that when i touch the negative somewhere else like shock tower the volts go higher or any other place where i get ground the volts change. Should i go with what splicing into wires shows or when i touch negative somewhere else

.6 to 1.0 v is an acceptable setting, no real performance is had by .98 to .99 setting, explaining the ratch function here can get rather in depth and how the ecm thinks so just set to spec of .6 to 1.0

lol at setting the tps for performance....
The mags just won't let that crap die either... the latest issue of MM&FF makes reference to it in their 'budget build' article
They are the primary reason this 'setting the tps' myth lives on....

Some background reading if you have the patience to make it through it....

so i have to have the tps between .6 to 1.1v so if i left mine like at .98-3 is that good or do i have to good move it more, im not looking for performance just trying to get it right because i had got code 63 - Throttle Position Sensor Circuit Below Minimum Voltage, so what do i do.

If the tps is reading .98v at idle and you are getting a code, then there is something wrong.
I would check the range of tps output using an analog meter... digital won't pick up dead spots in the tps output.
could also be intermittent grounding issues???
Use the ground in the tps harness...
When you say ".98-3"
What is the "3"?
Any other codes?
