I think 92 was the first year?? and yes all my other wiring is still intact, no other mod needed, I just bought a new one from napa , cost me 125.00 beans but has a lifetime warranty

Thats cool, mine is gonna cost me $20....as long as I can find one. I can find the old heavy ones all day but a hi torque may be another story. We will see.
