Default A T/F or S/C battle

Question I've been wondering about for some time and you guys have probably answered many times before.I tried the search but whatever.Okay Trickflow top end kit or one of those bolt on s/c kits runnin 5-6lbs.The reason I have a dilemna is they are both in the same ballpark $ wise, labour wise I'd rather s/c it, and can return to stock easier I think.Maybe.Ya I'd like to do both and...oh hell I'll just get a fully built crate for 6k. Well back in the real world my pocket book and back are sayin s/c. I'm not planning to have a full on drag car anytime soon but I want my 5.0 to at least be able to keep up with some of the soccer mom vehicles that are actually quite peppy lol. Pro's and con's? hp/1/4 mile difference all on a mostly stock 5.0 with a few bolt ons.

I'd go the supercharged root!!!, with a few bolt ons and , meaning gears , intake, exhaust and fuel system upgrade and a tune, you can easily run 10-12 lbs of boost on a stock engine and push close to 350 rwhp and still have decent driving characteristics

go with a novi 1000, upgrade the crack pulley and a powerpipe, your lookin at 10psi and still maintain the factory warranty (thanks FA lol). Do the basic mods, exhaust, intake, etc. and some suspension mods. It would be a pretty stout street car.

Hummm I like these answers. No one has said "get outa the '90's dude". I was lookin at some Paxton kits and if I remember correctly the head unit was self oiling and you need to get a new fuel pump and maybe injectors. Also some rebuilt kits (sn93)? for like $1500,very tempting as far as I can tell.

I like vortechs personally they seem to be more stout then the paxtons. If i had the money i would go with a procharger though. As far as boost goes i was making 386 rwhp with only 8lbs. now that im at 14 im up in the 475 range
