One of my buddies just got done putting together a 429 C/J and was wondering if I wanted to buy it. He asks $1500 and I said HELL YA! But I haven't bought it yet, some input please... Would this be a fun swap? If I don't put it in my stang it's going into the 1976 F150.

you do know how to tell if its a cobra jet right??...you dont want to get stuck with stock 429 heads ..smogers and low compression..

I have yet to go over and check out the engine but this guy wouldn't try and rip me. How do you tell if it's a c/j or not?
