Well, it's your car, and your money, and your *** if it ends up causing an accident. Spools are generally for trailer-on/trailer-off drag cars only. And the only application that I've ever seen that actually called for a welded diff was when my cousin raced Enduro back on Long Island. There were no mods allowed and it was a dirt track, so in order to compete, this was the accepted 'cheat'.

Other than that, sounds like a waste of time and effort to me.

wow havent heard of enduro in a long *** time. Im from longisland and still live here and its been awhile since I heard some one say enduro. Spools are good for like CID said trailer cars. If you want something with a spool but with good street I would consider doing a locker because then you get the best of both worlds. Even putting in those new lockright or powertrax.
