do you clean the metal shavings out or will the filter catch those? would hate to have to pull that thing to tap it...

Chances are any shavings that get in the oil pan will get sucked into the filter. However, I used a magnet. Every couple of rotations from the tap, I would catch all the metal shavings, before it would get in the oil pan. Then before I started the car, I chnged the oil. I think you'll be happy with an S-Trim. You could also look for a used Kenne-Bell. It does not require tapping the oil pan. But the price may be a little higher.

Procharger is one of the best but if you want the low power a kb will dominate. Im putting a kb on mine since my car will be a street car. Cant wait. 347 with kb lol

Yes! a proper turbo kit and you'll be good to go. These 5.0's already have enough power top end!

But I must say, a nice Centri charger would do just fine and be much easier to do...

the thing that is appealing about the turbo to me is it seems less common in mustangs and i like the idea of having more hp with less boost. anything that makes it easier on my motor is a good thing. but i totally agree, the s/c looks to be much easier to install.

Agree!! Turbo mustang is bad a$$....There is a nice BG kit on corral right now. Centri is cool and all....for me its kinda nice my car is actually CA smog legal. If you have no emission crap to worry about...and want to set your self apart from all the othere Vortech 5 liters...Turbo is the way to go
