Dont have a shop manual at home but I would ck for vacuum leaks under the hood. Then ck the vac hose that goes through the firewall into the dash. should be on pass side by the heater hoses. hope this helps. The climate control is set up to default to defrost.

should i also remove the climate control panel and check the hook ups on that or will there be nothing there that has anything to do with it?

If you pull the glove box down you may be able to see the line or hear if its leaking. If you dont see a broken line then I would pull the control panel.

Ok I pulled the glove box and I see a rubber piece that has lines going into both sides. There are 4 of them on each side, one that has blue stripe, red stripe, white stripe and one thats straight black. There are about 5 other holes on both sides that these can go into, are there specific holes they have to go into? Also, Im guessing that certain colors have to match up to the opposite side am I correct?

ok the line under the hood seems fine, no leaks at all. from between the inside of the firewall to the climate control panel, where is this line located as im guessing thats where it is broken in between there.

ok mjr46, you rule! I got it fixed now, seems the lil black line wasnt exactly connected 100%. now i have another question...

When I turn the AC on, I dont hear the a/c clutch kick on or off. What could be the problem with that?
