Im new here so i didnt really know where to post but i have a 289 out of a 66 stang and i want to know what it will take to put it in a 88-93 body style. If its just minor mods i will do it but if its gonna take a lot of money then i think i will pass.

Physically the 289 is basically the same dimensions as the 5.0...so that isn't the problem. you didn't say if you were going to keep the EFI or go carburated? My guess is you want to retain the EFI...most of the EFI stuff should bolt up fine...but why not just use the 5.0..more displacement, more power and torque.
