Default not starting issue

hey guys 89' LX with minor issues until now I'm stuck. the car won't turn over with the key so after checking all the obvious things, battery, starter ect. everything looked ok. I was stuck somewhere so i pop started it and got it home. I jumped the solenoid and get the car to turn over but as soon as it fires up it dies out and my guage shows now fuel pressure. so i cycle the key to get the pressure up and same thing happens when it starts. I"ve already relplaced the ignition module on the steering colomn thinking that could be it and it still doesn't start. Also tried bypassing the clutch pedal sensor thinking that might cause the car not to turn over with the key. any suggestions appreciated! thanks, rob

on the solenoid there are the two posts where the positive cable right off the battery and the other is the black cable that goes directly to the starter. above those is the little post with a small gauge wire that snaps on, that wire goes to the clutch control switch, i used a test light and when i have the clutch in and turn the key to start the car I have power at that wire. Is that what makes the solenoid open and get power to the starter, if so then I would think its just the solenoid thats bad?
