Hi Guys,

I am probably going to buy a 92 ford mustang coupe with a manual 5 speed tranny with only 66k miles on it. I already have a 1993 5.0 convertible automatic. What I want to do is swap the manual into the convertible and swap the Auto into the coupe. How difficult would that be? Would all the parts pretty much bolt up? Would I need to do anything to the computer? Thanks guys.... Also, the convertible is bored .30 over too.

everything will bolt up... but you will need to cut the hole in the trans tunnel larger for the manual shifter in the vert....

and you need to swap over the computers as well, the A9P, from the auto car, will not work if you put a manual in it, but the A9L (manual ECC) will work in an automatic car...

i put a T5 from a 89 mustang gt in my 93 vert auto and i didnt have to change out the computer...

but i did have to cut the trans hole a little..

you'll need to swap radiators possible if the manual one isn't equipped with a cooler

your lucky to have both, the swap will be fairly simple seeing you have everything you need lol
