Default 93 GT... $25k!!?

So, I just bought a 93 GT that is in pretty good shape and I have $25k to dump in to her. I had a Whipplecharger on my last GT and loved it! However, I am looking to get away from a blown ride this time. I would like to go straight motor only. I am also looking to restore this to a showroom shine (meaning inside and out).

Anyone have ideas of what I should consider buying or where to start? Any suggestions, pic's, or links would be appreciated. I am mechanically inclined so that will save a great deal of money right off the bat.

As always, I look forward to your suggestions guys!

347 stroker from Ford Strokers
408 stroker even...
TKO600
ummm, 10pt cage
full coilover suspension with panhard bar and tourqe arm...
full tubular k-Member....

what do you want to have, an awesome street carver? 1/4 mile monster? road racer....

25K will give you a rocksolid car to do anything with, as long as you get the right parts for what you want to do with the car...

I prefer the sleeper look but I want something that is a lot of fun. Not necessarily drag only. I dont mind a roll cage but I am not looking for something that I have to climb over to get in. I am all about a clean look so the cage would have to look decent in there and yet still serve its purpose. I would really like some better seats in this thing though. They are still in good condition but I am looking for something a little more flashy - not the hard bucket racing seat either I like the stroker kit ideas. What are the pro's and con's of one stroker brand verse the other?

I do have the cash, so no worries there guys. I wouldnt waste your time!

I had about $19k in my 06 GT. As always, I will post pics along the way and keep yall posted. I usually wait until I have a few things piled up in my garage before I start to work on the car.

Does anyone know of a good paint and body shop in northern VA?
What type of brakes would you guys recommend?
