Default Need help with knocking and fuel

Ok just bought a 347 stroker with a powerdyne set at 9 psi, mild cam, cobra intake, and trickflow heads. The car has a valve train knock how do you adjust them?compression? then when you get on it, it sometime try to bog out. what is causing it.

I replied on your other thread already, but check your fuel pressure at the engine, you could have a lame pump, or bad injectors, or it could be spark

check timing also. is it a valve train knock or spark knock

Didn't see the other thread but what octane are you running and do you have a wideband on the car to check realtime A/F?

I put new msd wires in so it cant be a spark, and i took a little time out for the boost, ill set it to normal and see what happends.

Im running 91 the best here in town, and the owner told me the guage is a narrowband, btw whats the difference between a narrowband and wideband?

White-Lightning...I have a lot of Experience with Powerdyne SC's....First thing you need to check is your timing, based on only getting 91 oct., I would not go any higher then 10 deg. of timing...Also, what fuel injectors, pump & fuel pressure are you running??

I would think 30-36# injectors would be the min. ...I'm leaning more towards the 36ers with the 347...

Valve train knock....maybe the valves need to be adjusted.
