What battery cables did you use? The Pos side is now a pretty long run. If you didn't step up a size or two, you won't be able to push enough amps to turn the engine over.
ground the block to the body and then ground the battery closest as possible to the body but on like a good spot with no paint on it so if had to grind some away. Best spot is rear strut towers and even rear seat hold down bracket.

The block should be grounded to the frame, not the body.
sounds like it should work. voltage seems right. check for continuity from neg terminal to ground on the engine somewhere. then to the body also. i'm sure it's something silly. if it starts with a jump, your starter is good, and if it stays running without dimming the lights, your alternator should be good.
you need to have a ground from the block to the frame of the car, then a ground from the frame to the body of the car. make sure ground surfaces are clean.also in the back you need to run the ground from the batt to the frame of the car, well thats what would do, if all is grounded you shouldnt have an issue
alright guys, all that f-ing around......my wife came home and I put her battery in my car and it fired right up. I guess my battery finally had enough. Thanks for all your help guys

W/e you wanna call it. It's bolted to where the k-member attaches. All I know is, my car starts, runs, charges w/o issue.
