Default exhaust

ok so i put 40 series flowmaster on my 90 gt with 2 1/4 inch pipe its not quite as loud as i thought it would be can you guys tell me what all u have so i can see what im missin for sound

You should bolt on an off-road H-Pipe. I think you'll find the sound you've been missing.

off road x or h-pipe ftw and I'd of put 2 1/2 inch exhaust on ....I run flowmaster on my 92 and MAC on my 85....I love the sound of my mac far better

yeah if you're running the stock H pipe then that's why it's so quiet. Get an offroad midpipe and it'll be loud.

Did you buy the full flowmaster kit or have the mufflers welded into your stock catback?

the 2-1/4" dia. Flowmaster fine if your Stang is basically stock, like stated above, just pop on a O/R H-pipe (2-1/2") and maybe even a set of shorty headers if you have some extra $$$

Its the size of your pipe, and if you have the stock h pipe that doesn't help. The cats in it calm the sound down alot. My 2 1/4 tail pipes quiet mine down alot more than I like but its all I have.
