i got a 94 gt w/ mildly built but when i got itit had 24lb inj but 19 lb MAF and the timing was off a little so i got the 24lb MAF and took to shop to get timed..got it out ran fine first day then the next day when i pulled out of drive way stomped it and it just spits like crazy!!i can go up the road and slowely get on it and at about 4,000(when i put the pedal down) she just falls on her face...i mean just completely losses all power and just spits..i can also start in drive way and put gas to the floor and it will bounce between 2-2500 rpm and just spit..not even rev up...any ideas???

i have checked timing on time set on 10 i think and checked fuel coming in , dont have gauge but when pressing down on pressure thing gas shoots probly 1 ft...changed fuel filter

Did you ever come up with answer on your 94 loosing power and spitting back. My son and I have a 94 also and it would idle but if you gave it any gas it would spit, sputter and die. We have put a pump, filter, and fuel regulator on and it idles much better but still dies when given any throttle. Starting to get frustrated with it!!

Bad MAF most likely if it is an aftermarket one...Most of them are hit or miss with the install as far as running good on the car.

Try replacing the TFI module. Will it do the same thing while its sitting in park/nuetral or is it just when you are driving.
