Default XE 264 HR AND LIFTERS questions ?

I just orderd my heads cam and intake and have a question about installing new ford racing roller lifters do I have to let them soak before I install them to check for push rod length or just lube them with assembley lube and put them in

also is any body running this cam? XE 264 HR

Default I'm running that cam

I soaked my lifters before the install and that isa pretty mild cam but I really like it. Stock idle and good power to about 5500.

no need to soak them, they will fill up when you prime the oiling system

Since you're only going to install them to check pushrod length, no, you don't. Of course, you cannot use the standard springs for this procedure; you have to use light weight checking springs.

While you're doing that, you can clay the pistons at the same time.
