RE: Will Under drive pulleys cause heat probs
no. some people say they will cause they slow the water pump down which means the coolant is moving slower but because the coolant is moving slower, it spends more time in the motor and draws more heat out. its been 90* everyday this week and my car runs 180-190tops

it can...no it spends more time in the rad to cool off better...throw in a 180 mr gasket only stat....also are you using a stock fan?

RE: Will Under drive pulleys cause heat probs
Yes and no. Under 40 and in stop and go driving I notice that the electric fan is getting much more use than it used to. It is noticable but nothing that the fan won't handle. There was a post or some posts about a month ago about jumping wires on the PCM to connect to a switch to turn on the fan. That's my next project before the warm weather hits so when in stop and go I can just turn on the fan and forget about it. We are still in the 50's and 60's here..
