hey, i have a 89 5.0, its jus been rebuilt with a ford racing crankshaft n pistons, ported n polished stock heads, ford racing rods, comp cams cam, then a bbk cold air intake, hooker headers, off road x pipe and 12 inch bottles and a accel coil.also i have 2.73 gears. for 1000 dollars what cud i buy to give me the most power or better my quarter mile time. to date my best run was 13.2 at 101 mph. thanks

save up a few hundred more and get some afr's!

gears definitely. get rid of that highway gearing. or, do what '91 said, and save up about $500 more dollars and get a good set of heads

can you say sawiiiiing, he doesnt need afrs he has worked over stockers which flow well. he needs gears
