What exhausts are you running? When I was running shortys with catco 2.25 inch H and 2.5 inch tails it was very quiet, sounded stock. Now with a BBK 2.5 inch H and MAC 2.5 Inch tails w/ 3 inch tailpipes... I have to say its pretty damn loud.

i run summit shorties, summit o/r X pipe, and 2 chamber flows and its loud.
my neighbor runs shorties, o/r H pipe and 2 chamber flows(at least thats what we think right now) and it sounds quieter than stock.

are his flows the delta flows or the original flows,if im not mistaken both are 40 series only the deltas are a little quieter!

that i didnt know....ummmm, mine are 2 chamber american thunders i know that for sure. i guess we'll have to check the receipt to see what he ordered. and what he got in the box.
