Question Engine Swap and Cam Questions

I am new to the Ford world and I need some help.
I am putting a stock 5.0 in my 92 notchback 4 cyl. I want to put a cam that has a nice lope to it without changing or grinding the pitson. How big of a lift and duration can I go on a stock motor. Also, what mods do I have to do to the car for the swap(i.e. transmission, suspension, etc) Thanks for any help I can get!

lift has nothing to do with ptv and a cam change means spring change on heads and a cam with stock heads is a waste IMO.....but if your set on doing such..I have a f-cam in my 92 with no ptv issues on stock ported heads
