BOOST?
I recently swapped my 6lb pulley for a 2.87 wich is a 10 lb pulley on my powerdyne blower, the blower was on the car when i bought it so dont tell me what a piece of junk they are please. my question is that the gauge still only reads 6lb @ 6000 rpm any suggestions also I replaced the fuel pump with a 255 lph and I tried adjusting the fuel pressure (holley adj fpr) and when turning the adjuster in the fuel pressure began to drop? any help would be much appreciated thanks the car has 80 mass air meter 42lb injectors 75 mm throttle body f cam windsor jr 180 heads and cobra intake

I know in a lot of cases, any air leaks can significantly lower boost pressure. Make sure all hoses are connected properly and tightened real tight. You may also be experiencing belt slip.Try to see if you can't tighten the belt any more. Also, just out of curiosity, what type of pulley are you running, 6rib, 8rib? On my Vortech I am seeing 8lbs out of my 2.95 pulley(8rib), but I was also experiencing extreme belt slip.

Its a 6 rib pulley and yeah leaks are a possibilty i had to install a bov, the powerdyne comes with a plastic discharge tube so I tapped a male adapter into it and sealed it so its possible its leaking there. this week @ work im going to fabricate my own discharge tube and weld the fitting in so theres no chance of leak it was a temp fix so I could go to the track friday night and see what it would run

the fastest time I ran friday was 12.13 @113 with a 1.79 60 ft mark does anybody have any feedback on my regulator? running the screw in fuel pressure droped? I tried 3 different times to adjust but same thing the highest it read was 42 with vacum off

THANKS yeah there is more left in the car I made a mistake with running a 27" tall tire its just to much tire for 373 gears even leaving @ 4000 rpm the car can only turn a 1.79 60 ft I know thats one of my problems but hey live and learn right.
