Default Detroit Trutruc

im thinking of getting one need to know how much hp it can take with 373 gears.

plan on using it for street/track. would a detroit locker be better


why would you choose a locker besides a trutrac.

trutrac will pretty much take what ever a stock block can throw at it... its a quality unit.

I'm running one behind my motor. make sure you get some street miles on it before you start beating on it to allow break in of the gears. I was looking at a locker but they will click loudly around corners, some people say you can hear it from your exhaust but ive been in cars with them before and you could hear it

so at what power range would you switch to a locker?
why would anyone go with a locker?
