Default 5.0 Exhaust questions

Im really looking into buying a full exhaust for my 87 stang. Iv got around 1500 canadian(hope thats enough). Im kinda new to auto work haha but im trying to get it all stored away in the memory. Is this all i need. Shorty headers, to a pro chamber H pipe, to the mufflers then to the tips, does that sound right or am i missing something. I live in ontario soo i cant go with an o.r H pipe.
How much did you guys spend on your exhaust.
What is the difference between a catted H pipe and a prochamber H pipe,
Can I upgrade parts of my exhaust at different times, i want to upgrade to 2.5 inch, so i cant do that peices at a time can I.
If anyone can set me straight , thanks alot.

luckily i got mine for cheap i found peiople online that lived close to me that was upgrading the exhaust and had no need for their old one. but the term "catted" refers to catalytic converters. and since you can't have an o/r pipe you need them. but you can find pro chamber pipes that are catted... atleast i think you can

Default RE: 5.0 Exhaust questions

none...good choice in moving to a 2.5" exhaust...you could buy a used full exhaust and save for $$$$...if emission is a problem up there , I don't know then spring for the catted h-pipe..they are high but can find a nice used set around 200.00 so your legal and don't have to worried about an exhaust change when you need testing..
