Default loud whistling / whinning noise

I have a loud whistling noise comming from the rear passenger side of the car. Im not sure what it is. It does it all the time now. The car could be warming up in the driveway or be driving down the road. Any ideas what it could be? I was thinking it might be some sort of pump ( possible fuel ) . Any help would appreciated.

Thanks
g

probably the easiest thing to check now would be to go crank it up and push in the clutch to see if it goes away

throwout bearing, mine does that same and that's what im told is the problem, from a few different mechanics. A quick fix is to tighten your clutch cable, it will make the noise go away for alittle while.

when i first got my car the throwout was making that same noise so i had my clutch cable adjusted. it work for about a month or so then went back to making that same noise. you can have the barring replaced or the whole clutch its not that much of a price difference for labor but if you get the whole clutch done you will be buying the clutch too which is about 200 or just the barring which is about 20 so its up to you
