Unfortunately, this is kinda common but it's a cheap easy fix. Another joy on having a PCV system, lol. That's part of the reason I completely removed mine back before I ended up selling the car. Ran much better without the original PCV setup.

I've been around, but mostly lurking. And even then it's only once or twice a month. But I'm starting to feel the itch again, LoL. I'm giving some serious consideration to buying a 4.6 and slapping a turbo on it, or maybe getting another 5.0 and going turbo with that instead. I figured I had a blast with the S/C, nitrous, meth setup... why not try turbo. But not yet, lol.

Meanwhile, I'll probably start visiting more frequently and helping people out like I did before. I've gotta admit, I do miss my TwEECer. I loved fine tuning the spark and MAF manually

This is 100% dead wrong!

The pcv can and will contaminate the intake, and if the problem is severe enough oil will literally drip from the TB down the inake tube.

This is a problem, and it is hurting performance.
No doubt the plugs are being fouled prematurely. There are other problems as well.

First thing to do is sort out WHERE the oil comes from.
A separator on the pcv line can help with this.
Check the vac/pressure on the crankcase, with and without the pcv attached.

Check the following for some background info...

good luck,
