Supercharged stock 5.0

RE: Supercharged stock 5.0
If you go with 10 psi you will probably blow quite a few gaskets. The small chargers would probably handle well.
My question is in addition. If a small charger is installed, say 5-6 psi, would a larger fuel pump, injectors (#24), and regulator be required?

If you decide to go with around 6psi then your alright with the motor , but you should get 30# injectors and at least a 190lph pump.
Dont forget to get an adjustable regulator.
Your car should run better than you'd expect.

Will a stock 89 5.0 handle a supercharger? Maybe around 10 pounds of boost or so, and if you have it done what would you recommend?

I'm assuming your looking into centrifugal S/C's. If you want to run 10 PSI the best thing to do would be to pick up your choice of centrifugal S/C and run it at the standard entry level 8 PSI. All you have to do is add an AFM Power pipe and youll see at least 10psi. The AFM pipe simply allows the S/C to be more efficient by acting as an unrestricted inlet pipe.

My neighbor (who has raced all his life 40+ years) bought an 88 GT off of an old lady with about 127k miles on it... He drove it for a few years doing the basicp Heads (GT-40X) cam (E303) and Intake (Edelbrock Performer) combination.. After about 190K miles, he decided to add a blower to the mix. He added a Powerdyne 8PSI blower with the stock bottom end from 190k - 220k miles!! No problems.. With that set-up, the car ran 13.0 at 114MPH on street tires. Pretty impressive for 220,000 miles!
